Think about a very beautiful dress, but there is a stone manikin wearing it. If it were a dead person wearing 70 layers of beautiful clothes, you would still run away when you see it. You love the spirit inside a person; not the dress. Therefore educating one’s soul through ordeals is important.

Without the ordeals we face in this world, people cannot learn love or become people to be loved. Someone who has not shown patience, compassion, loyalty or generosity has not earned any good qualities. Ordeals are necessary to gain deepness. Buildings, houses, every detail of life serve love; and if these are instrumental for us to learn love then these have a meaning. Think about a very beautiful dress, but there is a stone manikin wearing it. If it were a dead person wearing 70 layers of beautiful clothes, you would still run away when you see it. You love the spirit inside a person; not the dress. Therefore educating one’s soul through ordeals is important. (Adnan Oktar, A9TV; 16 January 2018)
